Property Type Addition and Renovation
Year Built 2006
Square Feet 2390

This addition to the main residence at Bradymack Farm in The Plains Virginia, consists of 2390 square feet of basement, first, and second floors and a front porch and two car garage. The objective was three fold. First was to create a welcoming façade. Second was to provide for a large gathering area which would contrast the smaller rooms of the existing structure that were scaled in size to the previous occupants. And third was to create an outdoor living area centered around a Great Old Oak tree located in the side yard. The slope which the existing home was built into had to be excavated to provide an entry court yard and easy access to the garage.
